Affirmations changed my life

It's so hard sometimes to actually believe that we deserve good in life, the devil has filled my head over and over again why I can't or won't accomplish my dreams. Even though I know it's wrong, sometimes I find myself buying in to the bullshit and slacking on the things I KNOW God has called me to do.

I am a Beachbody coach, I started by business March 14, 2017 and one of our daily vital behaviors is personal development. I remember watching movies as a kid seeing people in the 'self-help' section of the library in brown tweed with disheveled hair, drool on their chin and stains on their shirts looking for the book that would change their life. Funny thing is though, NOW, knowing what I know about personal development and how it's completely changed my life, THOSE are the people who truly have life together and all the movies portrayed them completely wrong.

In 2017 I read The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, he did a call for those of us who hit our monthly goal and I remember thinking, yes! this is the ticket for me. I'd always wanted to be a morning person, but my mom never was so I never was. At the time we were launching a 60 minute abs and booty program I wanted to do but I wanted to do it before work so I'd need to get up at 4 am to do it...what the actual hell? 4 am?! But I committed to my Miracle Morning and so I went all in. The premise of the book is to do S.A.V.E.R.S. every morning, sit in silence, do out loud affirmations, visualize, exercise, read and scribe (or journal). I've been doing a miracle morning for almost four years now and I can't imagine my life without it.

Speaking your own personal truth can have such power over our lives, even if it's something that seems so far out of reach, putting those wishes out in to the universe brings your deepest wishes to God and He will move mountains to bring you the desires of your heart. I want to be a 7-figure a year earner, I want to bless those who have blessed me. I want to prove to myself that I can truly change an insane amount of lives. I'm not interested in being a 7-figure earner because I need to be rich, I don't care about the material things in life. I earn an income based on the lives I change and it is in that regard that I want to be financially free. Plus I like shoes. lol.

What affirmations are you speaking? What truth are you putting in to your life? If you constantly say 'I'm tired' or 'I'm bored' or 'I'm hungry,' whether you are or aren't your body will actually move towards those things. So choose your words wisely, choose your thoughts wisely. We become what we think and feel and say and in my opinion the world needs a lot more 'I'm joyful' than 'I'm tired.'
