Holey crap I'm getting MARRIED!

We're T - 30 days from our big 'day' and stepping into a lifetime of marriage.... WOW! I TURNED 40 THIS YEAR AND I'm getting HITCHED; God sure has a for sure has a sense of humor. I've waited for this day for so long. To be honest, I wondered if I'd' ever find my 'person.' We're headed up this weekend for my bachelorette party with 16 of my closest girlfriends. I can't believe it's actually here.

One of my favorite places to go with my girls is Saugatuck Michigan, we go almost every year and have for over a decade. We park the car when we get there and don't get in it again until we leave. If you love shopping and eating and water, the Saug is the place to be. We love the Ship-N-Shore motel/boatel. It's definitely busier with the new restaurant. I recommend staying on the pool side, but either is a great option, it's hard to get in as it is. I recommend calling a year ahead if you can. We love breakfast at Pumpernickels, they have an upstairs patio that is amazing! Across the street from there is the Genral Store, if you're looking for souvenirs to take home, this is a great stop! Landshark is my favorite shop, their clothes are super cute, and their shoe selection is awesome! We haven't made it to the newly renovated Butler, but I hope we can make it there this weekend!

The Great Lakes in Michigan are a beautiful place to visit. South Haven is another favorite if you like the beach. St. Joe is another favorite, on the water, but I mostly love their wineries in the Baroda area. Check out Round Barn, it's a winery, brewery and distillery and my all-time fav!

30 days until I become Mrs. Schlabach... I didn't know what he'd look like or how we'd meet but God couldn't have picked a better guy or me. The past two months of wedding planning hasn't been easy, but I wouldn't change a thing. Our wedding day may be only 'one day', but it'll be our day and that is worth it all.
