"If you're not willing to do the work, maybe you don't want it bad enough..."

Whoa.... that's what Danielle said in our training today.... myyyyyy goodness, that was a WAKE-UP call. If ya think about it, it's so true... how many diets have you started, relationships you've given up on, jobs you've quit, that with a commitment you could've seen it through? I know I can't count mine on two hands.

So, think about it, what have you not put the work in to that you want so badly because it's hard? Because you might fail, because you may suck or have to be vulnerable? Be honest with yourselves.

It's a natural human reaction I think 1. because we're not meant to do it alone. God is there to give us our strength, every good thing we have comes from Him and until we learn to give Him everything we have, we will always search for control, for comfort, for the easy way.

God doesn't call us to SIT, He calls us to MOOOOVE and if you're sitting on the sidelines of your life waiting for someone to do it for you, then by golly, you'll be waiting a long time. YOU have to CHOOSE ACTION.

People tell me how 'busy' they are constantly... they glorify it like a badge of freaking honor and quite frankly, to me, it's just sad and sorta pathetic, like you've gotta fill your days with sooooo much so you don't actually have to face the life you should face. Busy doesn't impress anyone, hard work, courage, vulnerability, THOSE are the things people look up to. When have you EVER heard a successful person say they were too busy to exercise or read books to make them better, or spend time with family because it's important. The most successful people are ACTUALLY busy, they just don't tell you about it because they do all the other things right so they don't need that glorification that can only come from God.

I tell my new coaches, INVEST in personal development and follow your program, TRUST the PROCESS and in my four years as a coach I've watched countless women give up on their dreams because they didn't trust themselves enough to be vulnerable, to doooo what needed done. Working a business, building a relationship, getting healthy, the formulas ARE THERE, it isn't difficult, what's difficult is choosing to make time to invest in yourself so you can become the person you need to become in order to fulfill the purpose God has placed on your heart. And when ya gotta dig up those seeds and your past and your guilt and your shame it becomes much easier to lay blame, sit on your arse or quit because it's 'safer' that way.

I didn't face up to my sexual assault until 15 years after because of shame, I'd pushed it so far down I didn't even remember it happened, until my violator reached out to me, and the smells and sounds started to return, until then I was faced with a full on memory dump of the entire night and next morning. I didn't want to own it and I sure as shit didn't want to share, but I'd slowly been letting God back in to my life and unbeknownst to him, my pastor asked me to share my testimony at church, but I knew I couldn't just share the 'getting healthy' part, the depression and anxiety part, because rarely do those things just happen. I had to share why the depression and anxiety were there in the first place. I didn't wanna, but God knew I had to dig up that seed so it could heal and help me move to my purpose.

So, ask yourself; do you want it bad enough to do the hard work it will take to live the life you want to live, that you're called to live? Will you trust God to break you down and rebuild you from the ground up? It's in our most broken moments, He restores us, He continues to do this for me and He will for you too.

Ask the Holy Spirit to come in to your life and truly sit and listen. God WILL speak to you if you listen, pray, wait, trust, and be still... Commit to the work. Decide to Trust God. Succeed in just KNOWING that He is a God of miracles and He will, as said in Ephesians, give you more than you could ever ask for or imagine. God bless friends.
