Just stop...

Stop being so hard on yourself. Stop striving for perfection. Stop talking smack to yourself. Stop waiting for someone to hand you the life you want. Just STOP.
These are conversations I have with myself at least 10 times a week. You are NOT alone.
You are not your past, you are not your future, you are who you choose to be today. Yes, it's good to have goals, you SHOULD. But how do you go about setting goals that honor God and His plan for your life when the world pushes us to make money, rank advance, find status, wear the best shoes, yada yada yada.... You don't have to keep up with the dashians, please, I beg you, DON'T EVEN TRY.
Live for God. Make choices for God. WWJD should be the question you ask in every decision you make. Let Him lead your path, let Him tell you who you are.
I have uneven butt cheeks, and dimples on my legs, I have a weird hip that sticks out because it's constantly carrying inflammation from my surgery side 11 years ago. I have to let it go, God loves me, why shouldn't I love myself... He did make the entire universe and everything in it in 6 days... who am I to say what or who I am...
I beg you to get your bible out, to start every day with prayer, to ask God to lead and guide you. Ask Him to be your strength, to be your peace, your healer and redeemer. No status or income or outfit is going to fix your self-image, only God can do that, if you're doing it right anyway.
I struggle with this as much as the next person. I want to build a 7-figure business because that means I'm helping women grow, heal, love themselves and work to be their best selves, and also so I can give it all away... ok, so I can travel and donate to the causes I love but also so I can give it away, so I can give glory to God and say, Hey! Look how He helped me serve others.
How can you add value to another human? How can you love everyone you meet? How can you look at everyone you see and think, they're a child of God, how can I serve them today?
Stop thinking about all the things you're not, and remember who He says you are, fearfully and wonderfully made.... in His image, filled with ALL the fruits of the Spirit He had on that cross.
You are not your job, you are not just a wife, mother, worker, fitness coach, teacher, daughter, friend. You, my love, are the child of the Maker of the Universe.... He says you're enough, and He knows it all, so believe Him, talk to yourself the way you talk to others, encourage yourself the way you encourage others, love yourself the way you love others.
Find that spot on your body you struggle to love most and name her, my legs are Strong Susie, and when I find myself making snide remarks about them, I've learned to change the conversation. Everyone jiggles when they walk, except Schwarzenegger of course and I don't even WANT those quads lol. We are enough, we are!
Dig up those seeds that keep you in the negative, that keep you anxiety-ridden and unfocused. Jesus loved you enough to put you here, love yourself enough to see what He sees.
