Little known facts about me

I was a competitive clogger for 10 years. I traveled the country as a kid performing with our dance group. We competed at the National level when I was 14 in Myrtle Beach.

I love to read. I read a book every day in 7th grade. R.L. Stine, where my 90's kids at? Do you remember him? He wrote mystery's mostly about teens, I loved every one of them! Goosebumps weren't my fav, but I read them because he wrote them. I still read. Every day I read my bible and bible study and a book focused on my business and how to improve as a Faith-based entrepreneur.

I could watch the same movie over and over if I love it. Independence Day is probably my fav, I can watch it at any point, whether from beginning to end or three minutes left. And I have memorized many of the ones I've watched on repeat.

I loveeeee to be in the sun. I could bake for hours. If I'm on vaca, you'll likely find me at the beach. I can just sit all day, no problemo. I'll probably have an umbrella drink in my hand too. Although, now only about every 10th drink will be a cocktail. My party days are over.

I am a total introvert. I'd much rather be home with my dog watching some weird Netflix series than be out. I do have my times that I like to be on the go, but I am most at peace at home. I love to stay in my jammies on a Saturday during the winter and just eat popcorn and watch movies. I'm allergic to corn so I have to limit it now but give me some hot chocolate and popcorn and I am one happy girl.

I love to eat. I love to cook. I do not love to bake or do anything that requires a recipe. Measuring isn't my thing. But I want to.

Sweet or salty? Honestly, a combo. My aunt Sis makes a mix of cheddar chex mix and peanut M&M's, so good!

I love to color. I love to mow and work outside, which I should be doing now, but I'm here instead. I love to work in my garden, I hate pulling weeds, but I do it. I love my niece and nephew more than life itself and when I get married, I'll have 19 more!

I love to sing but can't carry a tune. My playlist is a mix of Jesus jams, Pearl Jam, and anything from the 90's.

I love to write and have been saying I'm going to write a book for 20 years. Lord willing, I will.

I love to decorate and redecorate. I love to redo a room by painting and moving furniture. I shop a lot at the Dollar General and my grandma's retired stuff. Garage sales are a great source too.

My dog is my best friend, I take pictures of her most days, my fiancé tells me I'm crazy lol. But her fluffy toosh is so cute I just can't stand it.

I've lost 70 pounds, it had been 85, but hormones and all.... I turned 40 this year and am working on loving myself at this stage, which has been a shift, but I'm excited and ready for what's next. I'm getting married to my very best friend in less than 50 days and I cannot wait to be Mrs. Schlabach.
