Netflix is ridiculous

I try very hard to limit the crap TV I watch, rarely will you find me watching a movie with a lot of curse words, we become what we take in and when I watch crap, I tend to release crap, from my mouth that is. Last week I tuned in to TWO different TV-14 shows on Netflix, the first, which I shut off immediately was a sex scene, all you could see was legs moving up and down and hear heavy breathing.... I'm sorry, are we letting our 14 year olds watch this nonsense? The second movie, which I watched to the end, wasn't horrible as far as language goes but about 2/3 of the way in, they dropped an F-bomb and used God's name in vain, THIS, I cannot stand.

If THIS is watch we're allowing our 14-year-old kids to watch, I'm sorry, we need some serious interventions in this world. Where is the COMMON SENSE? Where is the MORAL CODE?! Have we gone completely MAD? If you think it doesn't matter the language in a show that your kids are taking in, you're wrong. It affects us ALL.

We are what we take in, and when we take in garbage our thoughts become garbage and so do our actions. I am disgusted by what's on the TV in general, but the rating system is a friggin' JOKE.

Disney makes movies with agendas and pushing their message, Netflix clearly doesn't care at all what their kids are watching. How do these people SLEEP at night?!

Be mindful what you watch. Be mindful the music you listen to, the conversation you partake in. It ALL affects you, whether you want to admit it or not. You have certain friends you make better decisions around; you have people at church you'd NEVER want to know that your Watch List contains what it does. Be mindful. It's NOT just entertainment. If you think our kids are vulnerable to messages, you're right, but so, my friend are we.

We have to make better choices. We MUST insist on better options. Our kids need it, they deserve it! I shut off a show my niece was watching a few months back, these weird little people were running around, clearly talking about witchcraft, sacrificing animals and whatnot, I was FLOORED! NOT in my house, no way, no thank you.

This should NOT be the normal. If we don't protect our young people, WHO WILL?
