‘I can’t give you what you need.’

This morning our trainer said it perfectly, she said, ‘I can give you all the workouts and meal plans and inspiration and encouragement, but You Have to get off your butt and do the work.’

Isn’t that true in any part of life? We’re rarely handed what we want or need, we have to work for it. The reason most people don’t live the lives they want to or feel called to is that they’re so afraid to fail, they do t even start and fight and show up every day to push through the struggle.

God never promised us life would be easy, I‘ve read the entire Bible and never once does He make that promise, but ya know what He does promise? Is that if we live by FAITH, He will provide. Not may provided He WILL provide but we have to get uncomfortable and vulnerable and all those things we don’t reeeeally like to do and just believe that God will give you what you need.

Romans 8:28 says that in all things God is good and He will provide to those who work for Him and are called according to His purpose.’ And spoiler alert, it is NEVER on our time frame, so get ready to wait. And wait well, wait with grace and love and faith and belief that when the time is right He will make it happen. Sometimes you’re ready but the person you’re waiting for isn’t, Joel Osteen said this and it just wrapped me, right across the face... we have to trust and have faith and wait with grace.

So don’t wait for someone to hand you motivation or encouragement or all the answers, strap on your big girl panties, put down your excuses and go FIGHT for your mother flipping purpose, in Jesus‘name!
