You're limiting God.

Why do you think that your smallest problems aren't big enough for God? Why do you only bring Him your 'worst?' Do you not understand how He works? Do you not understand that He already knows each and every small thing that eats away at you daily?

We talk in our workout group about small habits that add up to big results... ya know, the small things that eat away at us, we never talk about, one day become paralyzing anxiety, fear, doubt, medication, addiction... all those things we think are too 'small' for God, end up pulling us away from Him.

You need to understand that EVERYTHING is small to God, E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. He created everything we see, smell, touch, in 6 days then took a nap ya'll, whyyyyyyyyy do we limit Him?

Ah, He doesn't care what I wear, or how my hair looks or how I pay for my groceries or what color my toenails are... UH, YEA HE DOES.... WHYYYYY DO WE LIMIT HIM! I watched a Joyce Meyer video that called me out big time on my limiting God, my limiting beliefs about how involved He actually wants to be in my life. He wants me to pray about the food I eat, getting through my workouts. Ya'll I pray before I put on my dollar general eyelashes, HECK YES I DO! Do you think I want to glue my dang eye shut, NO, I sure don't. So I pray for ease, for a steady hand, that they'll look right so I won't glue my eyelid to my eyebrow... I used to get reaaaaal sweaty before I did it, now I don't. I pray, He provides, cause that's the kind of God He is! And NO, I'm not wasting His time, and NO it's not vanity, sometimes a girl wants to feel cute and most days since I look like a homeless person, I think He likes it when I look nice... Joel Osteen says, EVERYTHING WE HAVE IS GOD'S, it isn't ours and it is our DUTY to represent Him WHEREVER we go, so STOP wearing your pj's to walmart and driving around in a dirty car. YOU REPRESENT JESUS, that should make us want to look, feel and act our best wherever we go.

Don't you want that? Of course you do! I am sweaty by nature, even though I'm usually freezing... so I pray for what to wear so that I'll be comfortable and ya know what, HE provides EVERY TIME! Yesterday, I went out to mow, I did NOT have enough gas to mow my yard but dang it, I did NOT want to go to town, I was on a very focused schedule and I had exactly enough time to mow before coming back to my office. So, what did I do?! I said, Lord, PLEEEEEEASE, let this gas get me through mowing so I don't have to go to town, I knew I could see the bottom of the tank, but I know GOD IS BIGGER. Wanna take a quick GUESS at what happened? That's right, I mowed my whole dang yard! A few times I could feel it giving out and I just prayed again, my doubt crept in, but my God is bigger. Now, to a nonbeliever, I realize how weird this sounds, but for someone who expects big things from God, in even the smallest of moments, I KNEW He'd come through, and he did. Not only did I finish mowing, at the end I said, Ok, Lord, lemme push this thing all the way back to the garage... and I made it....

STOP LIMITING GOD. My last two weeks have been financially BLESSED in my business, I'm not doing anything different or special in my daily tasks, but I KNOW He will provide, I don't just believe it friends, I KNOW IT. I KNOW I am meant to build a business that will allow me to honor the Kingdom how He wants me to, sharing my big and small wins, helping women overcome their limiting beliefs and going ALL IN for JESUS who gave EVERYTHING for me, even in my MESS, He's made me a message. I continue to read the Bible and I'm in Exodus now, Moses is talking with Pharaoh and as I keep reading how God hardened Pharaoh's heart, I had to wonder why, why would he make Pharaoh such an unbeliever, but He had to, He has to perform those miracles so people would believe Him, so that thousands of years later, little old me, can read these stories and understand that in God's time, we prevail... and how we act in the wait is just as, if not, MORE important that what we do when He blesses us with the desire of His heart.

God is everything to me, He is all I need. And I pray that the same will be for you. We don't need anything else but the love, grace and mercy of Jesus. Stop limiting Him, let Him work for all the good in your life, whether keeping your gas tank full or fixing a broken heart or relationship, or whatever your hang-up is, He wants you to give it to Him, even those pesky lil dollar general lashes.
