You Will Fail.

If you're doing life right, you'll fail. Over and over, you'll try things and fail. But the TRUE test is the getting back up and trying again test. Are you passing or failing failing. See, there is a difference. I watched a Denzel Washington speech this morning and he said, I want to fail forward so I can see where I'm landing. John C. Maxwell calls it failing forward too, he wrote an entire book on it. If the greats recognize the failing forward concept, why don't you? You're great too, whether you see it or not. We all have God-given gifts, whether we want to admit them or not.

Giving up a large salary, knowing I could go out and make a great living right now with my education and experience is hard. But I know God has called me to be right where I am, I continue to fail, to do all the wrong things, to give up and make excuses. But He continues to convict me right back to where He wants me and I try again... then I succeed a wee bit more. It's my sign that I need to just have the freaking faith I preach to my team and the ladies in my bootcamp. TRUST IN THE LORD BRO! Sheesh! I KNOW His plans for me are good, they're perfect, He proves it time and time again. For crap's sake I, legit, asked Him to move my man, my perfect for me man, in next door because I re-freaking-FUSE to online date and I live in BFE so I'll never actually meet anyone because I don't really like to go places... and guess what, HE DID. He moved my equally yolked, perfect for me, man right next door. Ha, ya'll wanna question God's goodness or timing, I have countless stories like this in my life. SO, this, Jesus, He is the reason I'll continue failing forward, because I know He'll pick me up, time and time again as He has my entire freaking life. He loves me, He died for me. He did the same for you. Are you trusting and believing and having FAITH? True, blind faith? Or are you trying to control everything? Are you anxious and full of worry and doubt? Give it UP boo, let Him handle your mess. NOTHING is too big for God, He created the world in 6 days, then took a nap. Are you really arrogant enough to think that He can't fix your shit in the drop of a hat? Don't be. I pray for help when I put on my dollar general fake eyelashes, I pray for good hair days, that I won't face plant during my workout and that I'll be able to control myself when cookies are involved. LET GO AND LET GOD. You're making it way too hard on yourself. TRUST ME, I KNOW. I lived 36 years of my life this way, it is EXHAUSTING. You know it is, so let go of that control. Better yet, pray for Him to take away your control. It'll suck for awhile, but good will come of it if you can actually let it go.

Embrace the FAIL. Embrace the fact that you will sometimes SUCK at life. But find comfort knowing that God will sustain you, that His mercies are new every dang day and that your BIGGEST problems and worries are already fixed if you'll only trust in Him. If your story isn't happy, it isn't over. If your life is in turmoil, it isn't over. Stop, drop and PRAY. Lift UP your worries and burdens and trust that when you're failing, you're learning. And if you never give up and keep pushing towards that purpose you feel in your gut, lean in on Him, trust your heart, listen to and trust that the conviction you feel is the Spirit living inside you, urging you to push on in the hard times. You are made to do big things, you are made to fail, so you can fail forward, trusting and believing in Him. Embrace the Suck. Embrace the failures of your life, learn from them and move forward. You will never meet a successful person who didn't fail a million times before finding what worked.

Never in a million years would I imagine I'd be building a business based on healthy living, exercise, nutrition, and mindset development. But here I am, happier and more confident than ever, knowing I've found my purpose and God's will for my life. Galatians 6:9 is my 2020 theme verse, it says "And let us not grow weary of doing good. For in due season we will reap the harvest if we do NOT GIVE UP."
